Proud to be Pagan at Slye & Natalie's
What a truly magnificent time! Set in the beautiful countryside surrounded by rolling hills, abundant forests, peaceful fields and the best company anyone could ask for. Though it called for rain, we saw only sunny skies and cool, clear nights! The three days, May 1st-3rd, went by all too quickly. Additional campers who arrived throughout the 1st and 2nd only added in the joy felt by all. A permanent Maypole erected in the middle of the campsite towered over all of us. Slye led his beautiful, hand-written ritual as all of us ran 'round the Maypole in the traditional manner. We all tied off our ribbons with a wish for the growing season. Followed up with Cakes and homemade wine by my father finished up a fantastic Beltane Ritual. The night continued with abundant merry-making, celebrating, conversing with friends and much, much more! The only good thing about the weekend coming to an end: It is a few days closer to the next Beltane Celebration!
