Each day I wake upon thy body

Now I lay me down to sleep
Through the twilight, and dark so deep
Earth and Water, Fire and Air
Stay with me while Mom's not there
Elements guide me through the night
And leave with thanks at mornings light

Cradle me here where I lie.

As I rest in your arms so strong.

Goodnight Prayer
Now I lay me down to rest.
I pray that all the world be blessed.
Lady Moon and Sister Star
Watch over me from afar.
Mother Earth is always there
And keeps me safe within her care.
The Lord of Dreams will dance and sing
And happy dreams will to me bring.
And when I wake to greet the day
Brother Sun will light my way

Day is done, it's time for bed
Goddess bless my sleepy head
Earth and Water, Air and Fire
Bring gentle dreams as I retire
When the morning sun does rise
The God will bless my open eyes



Thanks to the Goddess
Goddess, We Thank Thee
For the flowers that bloom about our feet,
For the tender grass so fresh and sweet,
For the song of the bird and the hum of the bee,
for all the beauty we hear or see,
Goddess, we thank thee.
For the blue of the stream and of the sky,
For the pleasant shade of branches up high,
For the fragrant air and cooling breeze,
For the beauty of the blooming trees,
Goddess, we thank thee.



Food Blessing
Lady and Lord,
Thank you for this food which we're going to eat,
Thank you for the earth in which it grew,
the rain that watered it,
the wind which gave it breath,
and the sun which gave it life.

Thank you for the life which was given so we can eat.
We are grateful for all the blessings we have in our lives and for all the unknown blessings already on the way
May we continue to live in health, happiness, love, family, and prosperity
Blessed Be.



Throughout the Day
Thanks to the Earth, which gives these things
Each good for us in its own way
That our bodies may grow strong and straight
Blessed by the things we eat today.

I venture out now to a distant land
To see and learn and roam,
But always at my journey's end

Blessed be the waters that wash away the soil,
From my tired body worn with care and toil,

Charge of the Goddess
Once a month when the moon is full, you and your family should gather together if you are in need of something.

You can dance, sing, eat and laugh. I am the happiness you feel and I am happy seeing you, and those you love, happy.

Everything you do, do it out of love. Do not do anything to hurt another person. Keep learning new things all your life. Believe in your dreams. Don't let anyone tell you that what you think or dream is wrong.
